Welcome to the Annual Remembrance Day Ball

My wife, Nancy, and I have been attending the Remembrance Day festivities since 1992. We began sponsoring this dinner/ball in 2003 so to have everything for the evening at one location instead of having to travel around and make multiple reservations.

Beginning three years ago, we introduced two new layers, a Fancy Dress or Masquerade Ball on Friday and a themed Patriotic Ball on Saturday to make each evening more enjoyable. These are optional but well worth the effort and help us appreciate what our ancestors enjoyed. This year’s Friday night Ball will be a Tartan Ball. Any attire that is has a Celtic theme from any period prior to 1865 or any Civil War attire is welcome for Friday and any Civil War attire is welcome for Saturday.

We invite you to join us in our seventeenth year at The President’s Remembrance Day Ball which will be held on TWO nights, Friday and Saturday, November 22nd & 23rd, 2019.

Friday, November 22 will have a Celtic Theme Dinner & Ball at Gettysburg Hotel. Social Hour at 5:30 PM, Three-Course dinner served at 6:30PM.
Saturday, November 23 will have a Patriotic Theme Dinner & Ball at the Gettysburg National Park Visitor’s Center. Begins at 6:00PM, Sumptuous Buffet will be served.
